1 Peter 2:5-6

As you come to him, the living Stone rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Change

Some people don't like change.  We get used to a pattern, and we like that pattern to repeat itself.  We sit in the same places, buy the same brands, eat the same foods, and there is nothing wrong with it.  Our patterns make us comfortable.

But it never lasts, change is inevitable.  Sooner or later that restaurant closes, they stop making that brand, someone rearranges the chairs, they decide that facebook needs a new look.

Some of these changes are miner irritations, but some are really a big deal.  Changes at the workplace or home can have serious impacts on life and they can be stressful.  It is through these life changing transitions that we really need to trust God and lean on the stability that He gives us.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Changes are inevitable, the only question is how we deal with them.  And when the real big changes come, the question is will we walk through them alone or according to God's plan.
