1 Peter 2:5-6

As you come to him, the living Stone rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Angry Christians

There are a lot of angry people in the world and many of them are Christians.  In the book of Ephesians, King Solomon warns us to control our anger.

Ephesians 4: 25-27 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,  and do not give the devil a foothold.

Why are we so angry?  Why do we expect nonbelievers to behave like believers?  How can we both stand up for what we know is right and still show the joy of the Lord through us?
