Acts 11:26 - and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
Acts 26:28 - Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”
1 Peter 4:16 - However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
What it means to be a Christian is different to different people.
Christian has different meanings. Moral has different meanings. Scripture clearly defines the word disciple.
There is an old hymn that says, "And they will know we are Christians by our love, by our love. Yes they will know we are Christians by our love."
There is an old hymn that says, "And they will know we are Christians by our love, by our love. Yes they will know we are Christians by our love."
Wouldn't it be amazing if it were true. What if all Christians loved so extravagantly that they seemed different. What if nonbelievers said, "That person must be a Christian, look how they love".
